Such rewards are always motivating and encouraging. If you remain conscious of the reward that it self will act as a stimulant for your efforts you put in to achieve the goal.

In case of smaller goals, mini rewards do the wonders. They keep you motivated. They encourage you to accomplish your task quickly. The reward must be directly linked to the achievement of the goals. This will further provide the required stimulation. For instance, if you are able to eat a healthy throughout the week, then you can reward yourself with the choicest food, at the end of the week. Such small rewards keeps you going without getting funk. You can go a long way and accomplish your large goals without getting daunted.
